Interestingly many of the sites banned were top earners, tech related and from Pakistan.
Sizzledcore.com which was claimed to be earning around $5k per month was banned as well. To this, a Google representative replied that the sites were banned because of “low quality” content.
- Many of the blogs carried the same tech related stories with minimal change in copy.
- Google is trying to favor the original article source, even if it was not-so-great with the language and grammar.
- Most of the sites were unfortunately tech-related, but that is only a coincidence as these blogs tend to copy paste many of the articles from the original blog.
While some webmasters are claiming that Google targeted Pakistani blogs with an agenda, most others are saying that most of these blogs thrived on “friend networks” with click frauds and copied low quality content, which is the only reason Google is quoting for the ban.
A clear and strong message to tech bloggers there from Google, anyways.
How to avoid getting banned from Google AdSense
1. Stay away from copy pasting content from other websites.
2. Tech blogs tend to copy paste parts of copy like “Features” of a gadget, which can also lead to low quality content.
3. Add more textual content in the copy than minimal video and image content.
4. Changing just the page title or other basic SEO doesn’t mean original content.
5. Avoid grammatical errors and non-standard language.
6. Always Copyscape, proof your content.
7. Do not involve in “friend networks” and mutual help groups.
Just my two cents.
